Tokaji wine; a sachet of paprika; fine Herend porcelain; music by Hungarian composer Franz Liszt – all great souvenir ideas on a visit to Budapest. You can find most classic souvenirs along the pedestrianized shopping strip of Váci Street, which stretches from Vörösmarty Square to Liberty Bridge and bustles with tourists shopping, strolling and eating at restaurants and ice-cream stands. By Liberty Bridge you'll find the vast Central Market Hall, open Monday to Saturday. For the convenience of shopping malls, try Pest's West End City Center between Nyugati and Lehel Squares; for antique shops walk down Falk Miksa Street.
